Snatched is a 2017 American action comedy film directed by Jonathan Levine and written by Katie Dippold. The film stars Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn (in her first film since 2002's The Banger Sisters), with Joan Cusack, Ike Barinholtz, Wanda Sykes and Christopher Meloni in supporting roles, and follows a mother and daughter who are abducted while on vacation in South America.

Movie Story :
Although fired from her job and dumped by her boyfriend, Emily Middleton is determined to enjoy a trip she had planned to Ecuador. She convinces her cautious mother, Linda, to join her. Emily meets a man in a bar who lures her and her mother out into the jungle, where they are kidnapped and held for ransom. Emily and Linda escape their kidnappers, killing one of them. The kidnappers pursue them as they make their way into Colombia. Emily and Linda are separated during the chase. Linda is captured by the kidnappers and held in an apartment in Bogota. With the help of two Americans Emily met in Ecuador, her brother, and agents of the U.S. State Department, Emily rescues her mother.
